About Molding Angel L.L.C.

Molding Angel L.L.C. is a software and AI company focused on finding creative solutions to unusual problems. We build specialized tools that help people understand complex systems, make better decisions, and get more value from the hardware and data they already have.

Our work started with injection molding diagnostics and has grown into a broader platform vision: intelligent systems that live close to real operations—on the shop floor, on Apple Silicon devices, and in the hands of the people who actually run the processes.

Instead of chasing generic “one size fits all” AI, Molding Angel L.L.C. focuses on tightly scoped, purpose-built tools that can be trusted in high-stakes environments.

What we build

Under Molding Angel L.L.C., we are developing a family of products that combine deep domain knowledge with practical AI and software engineering:

  • Molding Angel – A patent-pending diagnostic engine originally built for injection molding. Molding Angel is designed to help technicians and engineers connect real-world process data to likely root causes and next steps, without installing new sensors or retrofitting machines.
  • Fleet Command Armada – A LLM training and orchestration platform for Apple Silicon (M-series) Macs. Fleet Command Armada is designed to make it easier to coordinate training of your custom LLM's with Apple's MLX framework, keeping data local while unlocking serious computing power. Currently in development.

As these products mature, our long-term goal is to extend the same approach to other “hard-to-solve” domains—where the usual tools fall short, and where a focused, thoughtfully designed system can make a real difference.

About Dane Neace – Founder of Molding Angel L.L.C.

Molding Angel L.L.C. was founded by Dane Neace, an Injection Molding Process Engineer and systems thinker with over two decades of hands-on experience in high-performance manufacturing environments.

Dane’s background includes process optimization, defect troubleshooting, and machine diagnostics across a wide range of tools, materials, and OEMs. Holding an Associate of Applied Science degree in Mechatronics, he operates at the intersection of mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering—bridging the gap between the shop floor and advanced software systems.

The original idea for Molding Angel grew out of a simple problem: there is never enough time for experienced technicians to be everywhere at once. Dane began designing an AI-assisted diagnostic system that could capture and replicate expert reasoning, turning scattered notes and hard-won tribal knowledge into a consistent, always-available resource.

That work evolved into the AngelWalk™ diagnostic engine and the broader architectures behind Molding Angel and Fleet Command Armada. These systems are currently patent pending and continue to evolve as new capabilities and domains are explored.

Today, Dane’s focus with Molding Angel L.L.C. is simple: build tools that feel like having a trusted expert at your side—whether you are tuning a molding press, coordinating on Apple Silicon machines, or tackling the next unusual problem that doesn’t fit inside a standard template.
